SIMPLY LIGHT® is an extra-light base that grows with the child in six sizes with an abducted frame for an optimal sitting position. It can be easily combined with different seat shells. The system adapts to different stages of development and can therefore grow with the child for years into adulthood.
Product details
The SIMPLY LIGHT® outdoor base frame is particularly light and easy to use thanks to its tubular aluminum frame construction. In addition, the height and angle of the push handle can be flexibly adjusted to suit the caregiver’s body size. The tilt angle of the seat shell and the braking effect of the two independently operating drum brakes can also be adjusted directly from the push handle.
For a physiologically optimal sitting position, the seat shell in the SIMPLY LIGHT® base frame can be tilted by around 30° using a gas pressure spring and simultaneously adjusted in depth.
The SIMPLY LIGHT® wheels have pneumatic tires, the two front wheels are steerable and the two rear wheels are rigid. Two robust anti-tipping arches and support rollers ensure high tipping stability. An environmentally friendly powder coating protects the aluminum base frame reliably and permanently.
The SIMPLY LIGHT® basic models can be equipped with an extensive range of special accessories to ensure optimum patient care at different stages of development right through to adulthood.
Safe transportation in the car
The product combinations SIMPLY LIGHT® base frame with MAGICLIGHT®, MAGICLINE® or ORTHOLIGHT® seating systems in conjunction with a power node system have been successfully tested in accordance with ISO 7176-19 and ISO 10542-2. This makes them suitable for transporting patients in a vehicle in conjunction with a power knot system if the vehicle is equipped with an appropriate attachment device.

The Outdoor SIMPLY LIGHT® seating system is currently in the process of being registered in the list of medical aids of the GKV Spitzenverband (central interest group of the statutory health and long-term care insurance funds in Germany).
The assumption of costs is not excluded. If indicated, we have had good to very good experience with many of the leading health insurance companies.
