MAGICLINE® is a growing seating system for children in three sizes who find it difficult to adopt a sitting position. It consists of a seat and back unit with anatomical basic upholstery and side guides for the upper body, pelvis and legs. The wide range of individual adjustment options offered by MAGICLINE® enables ideal adaptation to the patient.
Product details
The passive MAGICLINE® seating system consists of an aluminum seat and backrest unit. It can be combined with all interco underframes. The seat and backrest unit are equipped with anatomical basic upholstery and good side supports for the upper body, pelvis and legs. The torso guide pads are adjustable in height and width and can be adapted to the patient’s needs. The adduction guides are width-adjustable so that optimum lateral guidance can be achieved. The seat with recessed seat is anatomically shaped and ensures an optimized pelvic alignment.
The standardized MAGICLINE® basic components can be supplemented with a wide range of functional accessories for further individualization. This allows the system to be continuously adapted to the growth and disease-related changes of patients.
The angle of the back unit can be adjusted up to 35° using a gas pressure spring and a physiological pivot point. This allows the backrest to be infinitely adjusted for slightly relaxed reclining positions. This saves energy and maintains the attention required for head and trunk control.
Safe transportation in the car
The product combination MAGICLINE® seating system with SIMPLY LIGHT® base frame in conjunction with a power node system has been successfully tested in accordance with ISO 7176-19 and ISO 10542-2. This makes it suitable for transporting patients in a vehicle in conjunction with a power knot system if the vehicle is equipped with an appropriate attachment device.

The MAGICLINE® seating system with the medical aid number (HMV no.: 26.11.04.0005) is a product registered in the medical aid register of the GKV central association (central representation of interests of the statutory health and long-term care insurance funds in Germany).
Cost coverage is not excluded. We have had good to very good experiences with many of the leading health insurance companies for appropriate indications.

The MAGICLINE® seating aid is suitable for patients with pronounced movement disorders or paralysis with reduced trunk and head stability, which make sitting with comprehensive support necessary. MAGICLINE® is equally suitable for malformations caused by diseases/disabilities or deformities of the trunk that require sitting with special support and fixation aids due to the abnormal shape of the body.
