ERGOLINE® Passiv is a seating system for completely restricted or immobile patients. It consists of an aluminum seat and back section and custom upholstery. With a large selection of standardized accessories, it can be adapted to specific requirements.

The ERGOLINE® Passiv seat and backrest units are available in 2, 3 or 4 mm thick aluminum versions and can therefore be optimally adjusted to the patient’s weight. The back unit is available in a straight or rounded design. Two hinges connect the seat shell parts and enable variable seat angle adjustment. As an option, the seat and backrest unit can also be anatomically shaped according to body shape.
The two-part seat upholstery is individually adapted to the patient’s needs and is made of cold foam as standard. If medically necessary, soft foam or relax foam can be used as an option. The breathable, removable and washable upholstery covers made of high-quality material ensure optimum hygiene and durability.
We offer a wide range of accessories to adapt to the patient’s limitations and level of activity. These include fixation aids, padding and support aids for the head, torso, pelvis, arms, legs and feet. A passive ERGOLINE® seating system can also be designed as a reclining system.

The ERGOLINE® Passive seating system is currently in the registration process for inclusion in the list of medical aids of the GKV Spitzenverband (central interest group of the statutory health and long-term care insurance funds in Germany).
The assumption of costs is not excluded. If indicated, we have had good to very good experience with many of the leading health insurance companies.

The ERGOLINE® Passiv sitting aid is suitable for patients who find it difficult, physiologically impaired or impossible to assume a sitting position due to anatomical changes. This can be caused by functional deficits in the interaction of the pelvis and spine. These may be due to either a congenital or acquired deformity of the musculoskeletal system (e.g., bony joint structures) or congenital or acquired insufficiencies of the musculoskeletal system, pelvis, and/or spine.
