ERGOLINE® Light is an extra-light carbon seating system for patients who are very active despite physical limitations and whose movement sequences can be therapeutically supported and improved. It consists of a seat, back and custom upholstery. With a large selection of standardized accessories, it can be adapted to specific requirements.
Product details
The ERGOLINE® Light seat and backrest units in carbon design are particularly lightweight and ideal for active children and teenagers. The back unit is available in a straight or rounded design. The seat shell parts are connected with two hinges and allow variable seat angle adjustment.
The two-part seat upholstery with integrated torso support pads is individually adapted to the patient’s needs and is made of cold foam as standard. If medically necessary, soft foam or relax foam can be used as an option. The breathable, removable and washable upholstery covers made of high-quality material ensure optimum hygiene and durability.
We offer a wide range of accessories to adapt to the patient’s limitations and level of activity. These include fixation aids, padding and support aids for the head, torso, pelvis, arms, legs and feet.

The ERGOLINE® Light seating system is currently being registered for inclusion in the list of medical aids of the GKV (Central Representation of Interests of the Statutory Health and Care Insurance Funds in Germany).
The assumption of costs is not excluded. If indicated, we have had good to very good experience with many of the leading health insurance companies.

The ERGOLINE® Light seating aid is suitable for patients who are very active despite physical limitations, who can assume their sitting position independently or with minimal support and whose movement sequences can be therapeutically encouraged and improved. Causes for the physical limitations can be functional deficits in the interaction of the pelvis and spine. These may be due to either a congenital or acquired deformity of the musculoskeletal system (e.g., bony joint structures) or congenital or acquired insufficiencies of the musculoskeletal system, pelvis, and/or spine.
